For Original Artwork:
I do my utmost to properly represent all of my creations accurately in description and photography, but if you are truly unhappy with your purchase, simply contact me within 2 days of receiving the item to arrange a refund or exchange.
Ship the item back in its original condition and packaging, and I will refund the purchase price minus shipping and handling. If the item arrives broken, it is insured, so I will gladly send you a similar piece valued at the same price as your original purchase.
For Art Prints, Apparel and Accessory Items Featuring my Artwork:
BirkeloArt’s refund and return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, a full refund or exchange is no longer possible. Otherwise, I will of course replace any damaged or defective products.
I want everyone who purchases artwork from my shop to be ecstatic about his or her item, because they all represent little pieces of my creative spirit.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Non-returnable items include:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Any item not in its original condition, that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to my error or any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery is eligible only for a partial refund.
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first re-check your bank statement.
Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for your refund to post.
Next, contact your bank. There is often processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Only items that are defective or damaged are replaced. If you need to exchange, assuming the product is not an original artwork, send me an email to set up the exchange.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, I will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
You are responsible for paying shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I cannot guarantee that I will receive your returned item.
